  • Q1. Why should I buy a car from Al-Futtaim Automall?

    Al-Futtaim Automall leads the UAE in buying, selling, maintaining and repairing used cars. We believe we have a car for everyone regardless of budget. All of our cars undergo a comprehensive service check and come with a minimum one year warranty and a mileage certificate. We aim to offer our customers unbeatable value, reliability and peace of mind.

  • Q2. Does Al-Futtaim Automall buy and sell all makes and models of pre-owned cars?

    Yes, we buy and sell passenger and commercial cars of all makes and models.

  • Q3. Where does Al-Futtaim Automall get its stock?

    We buy cars from our existing customers in the GCC, through part exchanges and showroom trade-ins, reputed car rental businesses, government institutions and corporate fleet customers in the region.

  • Q4. Is the deposit paid to book a car refundable?

    If you change your mind, you can transfer your deposit to another car from Al-Futtaim Automall within three months from the date of when the deposit was originally paid. We regret that any deposits paid cannot be refunded.

  • Q5. Does Al-Futtaim Automall offer finance?

    Through our partnerships with leading UAE banks and finance providers, we can arrange a choice of hassle free finance solutions for our pre-owned cars, as long as the car is not more than eight years old. Normal terms and conditions apply.

  • Q6. What is an accident car?

    By definition, the term ‘accident car’ means a car which has been involved in an accident and has major structural damage to its chassis or main frame, which may or may not have been repaired.  Al-Futtaim Automall does not retail any accident cars.

  • Q7. Do you partially or completely repaint cars before putting them up for sale?

    We inspect each car inside and out so that we can understand what, if any, work is required to bring the car up to showroom standard. We have trained our associates to repair any bodywork scratches or damage and if necessary, we completely repaint the car at our state-of-the-art paint booths.

  • Q8. If a car is repainted, does it mean it has been in an accident?

    We aim to provide you with a car that is as good as new, and so sometimes we may need to repaint a car to correct small dents, scratches or minor body damage. However a repainted car does not mean the car has been in an accident.

  • Q9. Do I get new tyres with the car?

    Not necessarily.  Tyres are replaced if the tyre is more than three years old or if the tread depth is less than 3.0mm for sedan cars and 4.5mm for SUVs or 4X4. If any sidewall cracks, bulges or abnormal tread wear is identified or mixed tyre brands are found, the tyres are also replaced.

  • Q10. Do I get new brake pads and brake discs with the car?

    Brake pads and discs are replaced if the thickness is below the minimum measurement specified by the manufacturer.

  • Q11. What does the Al-Futtaim Automall service check cover?

    As well as carrying out a routine service, we also conduct a comprehensive check of the entire car so that every customer has complete peace of mind when purchasing from us. We ensure that all functions are operational and in good working order.  

  • Q12. Does Al-Futtaim Automall provide service history with all the cars it sells?

    We will share all the information about the car as provided by the previous owner. On request we can also provide the results of our own 99 Point Check and details of any jobs done during the reconditioning process.

  • Q13. Do I get warranty on any car from Al-Futtaim Automall?

    At Al-Futtaim Automall, all cars are covered by a 12 month or 20,000 kilometres comprehensive warranty (whichever comes first) from the date of delivery. Alternatively, if the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty is higher, this is transferred to the new owner. For additional peace of mind, a warranty can be extended up to three years or 60,000 kilometres for a nominal charge.  Terms and conditions apply.

  • Q14. What does the warranty cover?

    Al-Futtaim Automall’s comprehensive warranty guarantees free of charge replacement or repair of any part that is found defective in material or workmanship under normal use. This excludes normal wear and tear on parts.

  • Q15. Is Al-Futtaim Automall’s warranty transferable if I decide to sell the car?

    The warranty is between Al-Futtaim Automall and yourself. If the car is sold, the warranty is not transferrable and therefore becomes invalid.
